ARCTIC BEING RETREAT 17-23 AUGUST 2025
Arctic Being Retreat: One Week, Two Worlds in the Wilderness
Finland has been named the Happiest Country in the World for eight years in a row. Why? Because of its quiet, effortless connection to nature, trust between people, and a way of life that values simplicity, balance, and well-being.
Arctic Being isn’t just a retreat:
It’s a taste of the grounded and real Finnish way at its finest!
Many of our guests have been amazed by Minna’s deep knowledge of wild herbs, berries, mushrooms, animal tracks, and forest life. She’s not just a guide—she lives what she teaches. While most Finns enjoy time at their cottages just for the summer, Minna has chosen to root her everyday - year around life in the Arctic wilderness.
This retreat is a rare opportunity to step into that world.
To walk where nature is still wild.
To gather what the forest offers.
To learn, listen, and move at nature’s pace—with your own two hands and feet.
To remember something ancient in yourself.
This is not a curated experience polished for tourists—it’s real, raw, and deeply respectful of Mother Earth. Together, we carry water, cook by fire, walk forest paths, and use our own muscle power. Not out of hardship, but out of reverence.
So if you feel the pull to reconnect with the natural world inside and outside of you, to learn from someone who quietly embodies it, and maybe even rediscover something essential within yourself. This is your invitation to join us!
Arctic Being is a carefully guided journey through two distinctly magical settings:
Arctic Sky, Saariselkä – A warm, comfortable base nestled by the Urho Kekkonen national park, where you’ll land gently into stillness (3 nights)
Lake Inari Wilderness Resort – Remote, elemental, and profoundly peaceful. A lakeside sanctuary only reached by boat, where simplicity reveals what truly matters (3 nights).
This is the first time we connect these two locations into one seamless retreat experience—a retreat that blends comfort with raw beauty, softness with wildness.
Arctic Being retreat is built on years of experience in creating meaningful experiences for travelers and retreat guests. Our guests consistently praise the calm, care, and authenticity we bring into every detail—from nourishing meals to heartful guidance.
You’ll be guided by us, Minna and Elina, two Finnish sisters combining skills in yoga, coaching, and wilderness guiding. We’ve hosted many retreats together—but this one opens a new door.
If your heart says yes to:
• Real connection • Simplicity and presence • A deep pause in nature • A return to your true self ...then we would love to welcome you!
Only six women. Only one week. Only this summer!
Let the stillness of the Arctic speak to you.
With warmth, Minna & Elina
